Description
This position will work with the Admissions and Counseling Unit. This position is responsible for assisting individuals with accessing mental health services and determining eligibility for services. This includes completing initial mental health assessments and coordinating with an LPHA for psychiatric diagnostics. This position will complete assessments to document mental health and social history, determine level of care and engage individuals in the recovery planning process. This position may also follow up with individuals who have recently experienced a crisis to help determine future treatment needs. This position is directly supervised by the MH Program Administrator for Admissions.

Qualifications
•Requires a Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology from an accredited college or
university.
•Must either have a current license as an LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist, or be working towards licensure. •Must be eligible to be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
•Must have previous mental health work experience with adult mental health consumers.
•Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License and be an insurable driver.
