MHFA Outreach Coordinator
The goal for the Mental Health First Aid Outreach Coordinator is to increase awareness of MHFA training, increase the number of MHFA training sessions available, and increase the number of overall trainings completed. It is the responsibility of the Outreach Coordinator to ensure that all requirements listed in the HHSC Mental Health First Aid Contract are met in addition to responsibilities outlined below. Work under general supervision of the Program Administrator for IDD Authority Services, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment and to fulfill duties and contract requirements.

• Experience in a field relating to the agency program.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in a field relevant to the assignment.
• (Preferred) Bilingual
• (Preferred) Experience in public speaking and presentations
